Robert Pławiak – Since November 2022 as Chief Digital&Technology&Information Office in Polpharma, Poland. He is responsible for all aspects of digitalization, and technology areas of IT&OT processes in the most significant pharma manufactures. In the last four years (2018-2022), as the President and Group CIO, he implemented many changes in business processes in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. He contributed to the construction of a new system for the distribution of vaccines against COVID-19 in Poland, and optimized business processes based on implementing and modernizing IT solutions, including WMS, TMS, and ERP. In the Pelion Group, he was responsible for M&A processes and completed the transfer of the management of the Swedish pharmacy network and the IT ecosystem to Poland.
Additionally, Robert is involved in expanding NGO in Poland as President of the IT LEADER CLUB POLSKA foundation. During the last ten years, was established well knows IT Academy for public sector employees that can graduate MBA level. He is a graduate of the computer systems course at the Military Technical Academy in Warsaw and MBA studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. In 2022 he finished studies at Cambridge University School in the field of Digital Disruption Transformation and Strategy. He has broad management and leadership experience reaching nearly 20 years in insurance, banking, leasing, pharmacy, and healthcare.
